AI Data Governance Specialist
Job Description
Askquala is seeking an experienced AI Data Governance Specialist to develop and implement data governance frameworks for our enterprise AI solutions. This role will bridge the gap between data management, analytics, and AI implementation, ensuring data quality, compliance, and optimization throughout the AI lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data governance frameworks for AI systems, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance
- Develop and enforce data quality standards, validation methods, and data management protocols
- Create and maintain KPIs to track data quality, usage patterns, and AI system performance
- Lead data collection, processing, and analysis workflows to support AI model training and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and optimize data pipelines
- Develop data visualization dashboards using Power BI to communicate insights and performance metrics
- Train technical and non-technical staff on data governance principles and best practices
- Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or database administration
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with data collection tools (such as Kobo Toolbox) and database management
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and understanding of data requirements for AI systems
- Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with international organizations or global data environments is a plus
